About Us
Brick City Printing is more than just a printing company—we are a business born from the values of hard work, activism, community, and solidarity. For over two decades, we have been proud to offer high-quality, union-made products that support local workers and businesses. Our founder, Becky, has a personal journey that drives the mission of Brick City Printing, and her commitment to ethical production is at the heart of everything we do.
PRINTING WITH PURPOSE
Born and raised in South Saint Louis, Becky grew up in a home where hard work and integrity were central to everyday life. Her father, a proud member of IBEW Local 1, and her mother, a public school teacher, instilled in her the importance of supporting working people. Becky attended Central VPA High School, where her passion for creativity began to bloom. As a teenager, Becky was drawn to ideas of justice and solidarity. At 19, she moved into an anarchist community, where she participated in Food Not Bombs, cooked vegan meals for those in need, and created zines, all while living on as little money as possible. These experiences shaped her deep commitment to challenging systems of oppression and advocating for the working class. In 2001 Becky started printing for record labels and small businesses. In 2012 she opened a brick and mortar store on Cherokee street in Saint Louis.
PARTNERS WITH A PLAN
In 2019 Nicholas came on board as a partner. He brought with him a wealth of experience in art and design as well as experience in labor organizing and community activism. In his previous role as a collective bargaining representative for SEIU, Nicholas spent years fighting for improved conditions for working people.
At Brick City Printing, we believe that our business is more than just printing—it’s about building community, standing up for workers’ rights, and promoting ethical practices. We invite you to join us in printing with purpose and making a difference in both your community and the world. Let’s bring your ideas to life—one union-made product at a time.
